What is National Trails Day?
National Trails Day is the first Saturday in June. Each year, we bring together hundreds of volunteers for a day of service and fun out on local trails. Our 2023 event was a blast, and we’re planning an even bigger and better National Trails Day for 2024.
A Peek at Last Year’s National Trails Day
In 2023, we had 620 volunteers join us at over 19 project sites throughout the Santa Cruz Mountains. We completed over 2,500 hours of trail work in local open spaces, then gathered for a huge celebration in DeLaveaga Park.
