After years of use and a string of extreme storms in 2023, our stewardship team’s number one focus is returning access and improving trails in Soquel Demonstration State Forest (SDSF). Our crew has already spent hours in SDSF removing downed trees and now our attention can turn to the trails. As a nonprofit, we count on trail users and outdoor enthusiasts like yourself to enable us to perform this work. Consider entering to win to help reopen and improve trail access in SDSF. 2014 to 2023. For 9 years, Ibis Cycles has shown their support for trails in Soquel Demonstration State Forest and beyond. Beloved SDSF trails remain closed following our historic recent storms, and Ibis stepped up to help us repair and rebuild trails like Flow so that they can reopen faster.

In 2014, we ran our first-ever bike giveaway with Ibis Cycles, called “Own the Flow”, and offered up a Ripley or a Mojo HD in order to help raise $100K for the original construction of Flow Trail. 9 years later, they’re still here and we’re giving away any model in their lineup to help regain access AND revamp Flow Trail (plus Sawpit, Braille, Corral, and Ridge).

PLUS: for every $75,000 raised during this campaign, Ibis has offered to give our SCMTS Trail Crew a brand new Ibis Oso. Trail crews with e-bikes = more trails and more maintenance.
